W24 – Oplà – Made in Italy space-saving solutions
OPLÀ is not just a bed. It combines a comfortable single bed with a large desk – in fact, its width reaches 229.6 cm, which is quite unique! All of this is guided by a functional mechanism that regulates its movement: when the bed is open, in fact, the footprint of the desk occupies the part above it, thus avoiding clearance from the top whenever you want to open the bed. Opening and closing the bed and desk are both assisted by gas pistons. Convenience and efficiency are also ensured by management of the bed at “ready-made” enabled by calculating the overall dimensions of the blankets at the design stage. The bed base, made of wooden slats with elastic bands, favors the transpiration of the mattress and supports it to provide additional comfort.
