W8 – Metropolis – Made in Italy space-saving solutions
METROPOLIS is the transformable furniture par excellence. Unique in its kind, it conceals the bed with a storage unit equipped with shelves and/or TV compartment that leaves absolutely no hint of its intended function. The rotation system is fully suspended without the aid of wheels that slide on the floor, thus ensuring perfect operation even in the presence of delicate carpets or parquet floors. Opening and closing of the bed are both assisted by gas pistons and can be managed with the bed “ready-made” thanks to the calculation of the blanket dimensions at the design stage.
The bed base, made of wooden slats with elastic bands, favors the transpiration of the mattress and supports it to give greater comfort.
After checking the feasibility, we also manage customized solutions.
