All WALLBED ITALIA products are designed and manufactured according to the EN 1129-1:1995 and EN 1129-2:1995 standards which define, on the basis of tests, the safety, resistance and durability requirements of folding beds for domestic use. These standards provide an unambiguous and verifiable method for fulfilling a legal requirement. In fact, they allow us to assume that products that comply with them, when placed on the market, are safe and thus meet the legal obligation imposed by the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree, 06/09/2005 No. 206) and in the European Directive on General Product Safety (2001/95/EC).
In parallel with its development, WALLBED ITALIA has taken steps to transform its values into an idea that is also eco-sustainable.
Our space-saving solutions, as well as being totally designed and manufactured in Italy, are realized with the constant aim of using ecologically sustainable products, given the continuous search for new materials with low environmental impact. The water-based coatings used for the lacquering, the wood species derived from real wood and our laminates that comply with CARB-II (California Air Resources Board – a test that regulates low formaldehyde emissions), are made with full respect for nature.
